Fresh Eating & Cooking

At our school we create opportunities for our students to cook on a regular basis. The aim of our cooking program is to educate by providing information on nutritional needs; to empower students by increasing recognition of and ability to choose nutritious foods; and to enhance life skills by teaching simple meal preparation and introducing cooking lessons. Some of our ingredients we use during our cooking lessons come from our extensive organic vegetable garden which the students of the school are responsible for helping to maintain.
